What Guitarist Is For
Guitarist is designed to produce credible electric guitar rhythms without the need for a player. Ideal for composing pop, rock, funk, indie, metal, hip-hop/EDM, and scoring music, it generates expressive grooves, detailed arpeggios, and tempo-synced strums directly in your DAW or in standalone mode.
Main Features
Performance Sequencers and Strum Controls
At the heart of Guitarist, a simple-to-use "Patterns" page lets you decide step-by-step which chords are played, which strings are struck, and the strum direction. Each string can be triggered individually to create wide arpeggios or sharp riffs, with muted notes and dead notes for a natural groove.
Chord Editor and "Human Touch"
Define your chord progressions by root, type (12 variants), and fingering (3 positions), use the "step-repeat" to extend your patterns, and create up to 24 user chords, including "impossible" voicings. The "Animations" page virtually moves each finger by +/-1 to +/-3 semitones to enrich harmonies and humanize the performance.
Action Section and Articulations
The "Action Section" offers instant controls: segment looping, insertion of muted notes, half-tempo... Articulations such as slides, vibratos, and portamentos enhance the feel of real playing.
Guitars, Amps, and Effects
Four iconic guitars have been captured with extensive sample libraries of open and fretted notes. Two amp models, a direct output for your favorite simulators, two effect units (10 FX total), and an advanced wah-wah pedal with syncable LFO, retrigger threshold, and min/max limits complete the chain.
Presets and Workflow
"Global," "Sound," "Pattern," and "Chord" presets can be freely combined to instantly test new grooves. MIDI export allows you to further edit patterns in any software instrument.
