WOW2 is a creative filter plugin designed to sculpt basses, leads, drums, and textures in sound design. It excels at adding movement to your lines, creating expressive sweeps, "vowel"-type talking effects, and tempo-synced filtered rhythms. Expressive Filter Engine
The 21 models range from the singing Comb to the ultra-steep 8-pole low-pass, including rougher flavors like "Diode MS" or "030". Each can activate the "Vowel" mode with its 9 human vowels to achieve almost spoken articulations without relying on external formants.
Modulation Means Power
Four modular sources work in concert: an envelope follower with frequency detection, a LFO with 13 waveforms, a 16-step sequencer for precise rhythmic patterns, and the Wobble. Assignment is direct via right-click or through destination circles with bipolar intensity, promoting a fast workflow.
The Wobble Generator
A true movement engine, the Wobble combines in a single knob the selection of 16 waveforms and the choice of 12 synchronized speeds. This knob itself is modulatable, allowing evolving wobbles ideal for modern basses or spectacular transitions.
Sculpting Distortion Section
Place the distortion before to saturate the filter input or after to color the output. The 7 algorithms cover 3 "analog-like" overdrives and 4 digital treatments (from "Bit Crusher" to sinusoidal model), ensuring stable levels and avoiding unnecessary volume automations.
