The sound

Its solid spruce top, combined with an X bracing, promotes attack, clarity, and projection: ideal for defined rhythms and clear arpeggios. The solid rosewood back and rosewood sides add depth in the bass, elegant brightness in the treble, and a sense of harmonic "width," with generous sustain. Plugged in, the combination of the Palathetic under-saddle pickup and the CoolTube (CT-4BII) preamp aims for a precise and dynamic amplified response, with a tone ranging from bright to thicker and warmer depending on the settings. The 3-band EQ with semi-parametric mid and the built-in chromatic tuner facilitate quick adjustments on stage.
