The Ditto Philosophy: Original Simplicity with Stereo Openness
The Ditto Stereo Looper follows in the footsteps of the "one-knob" loopers that made looping accessible to everyone: a compact pedal, immediate ease of use, and audio quality that stays true to your tone. Here, TC Electronic maintains the minimalist approach that made the Ditto range successful, while adding what many have been waiting for in a modern pedalboard: true stereo management and loop transfer options to prepare a set or archive your takes.
To boost inspiration, the StarJam feature allows you to load loops created by guitar heroes (such as John Petrucci, Steve Morse, Guthrie Govan, or Paul Gilbert) to work on phrasing, timing, and improvisation in a motivating musical context.
A Looper to Progress, Compose, and Perform Live (Without Changing Your Habits)
The Ditto Stereo Looper is aimed both at beginner guitarists who want to practice chords and changes, and at experienced musicians who build complete arrangements from a simple idea. It's perfect for metronome practice, songwriting (testing a chord progression, melody, or harmony), or enriching a trio's playing by adding a pad, rhythm, or repeated motif.
In live settings, its compact format and "foot-operated" functionality make it an obvious ally: you start a loop, layer overdubs, undo/redo a layer, then continue playing. And if you already play in stereo (ping-pong delays, wide reverbs, stereo chorus, two amps), you can finally loop without collapsing the image into mono.

Questions frequently asked
Can this looper be used with a stereo guitar setup and two amplifiers?
Thanks to its two 6.35 mm TS inputs and two outputs, the pedal supports both mono and stereo wiring. Wide effects such as delays, reverbs, and modulations can be recorded while preserving their stereo image.
What is the maximum loop length and are overdubs limited?
The maximum loop length is 5 minutes. Overdubs are unlimited, with an Undo/Redo function operating on the last recorded layer.
How can backing tracks be imported onto the Ditto Stereo Looper?
Via the Mini-B USB port, loops can be imported and exported from a PC or Mac computer. The pedal also supports StarJam artist backing tracks and loops.
What power supply is required for this looper pedal?
The power supply requires 9 V DC with center negative polarity, with a minimum consumption of 100 mA. Operation on a 9 V battery is also supported.
Is the dry signal converted by the looper?
The dry signal remains on an analog path with no perceptible latency, while loops are recorded in 24-bit uncompressed format.
