This pedal targets both beginner guitarists who want to improve with a "musical" metronome and experienced musicians looking for a quick tool to test arrangements or work on improvisation. The 11 rhythm styles cover various uses: rock, blues, pop, funk, and broadly anything that requires an immediate rhythmic foundation.
In the studio, it serves to capture an idea in seconds. Live, it can be a backup to launch a basic loop or an intro. On a pedalboard, it naturally sits at the end of the chain to record the full sound (effects included) and rehearse under real conditions.

The looper provides up to 6 minutes of recording and allows unlimited overdubs.
Can the pedal start recording automatically?
Two modes are available: Normal and Automatic. The Automatic mode triggers recording by detecting the incoming signal as soon as playing starts.
How many built-in rhythms are there and how to adjust the tempo?
The drum machine includes 11 musical styles. The top switch starts or stops the rhythm and allows tempo adjustment via Smart Tape Tempo. The tempo can also be detected from the recorded loop.
Is it possible to listen through headphones and transfer loops to a computer?
A mini-jack headphone output is included for silent practice. The USB-C port permits import and export via the Hook app, in WAV mono 44.1 kHz / 24 bit.
What power supply should be used with this NUX pedal?
The required power supply is a 9 V DC center-negative adapter, not included; the MNU ACD006A adapter is available as an option.
