Before 1959, TELEFUNKEN distributed Neumann microphones worldwide. When Neumann decided to handle its own distribution, TELEFUNKEN commissioned the Austrian company AKG Acoustics to produce a series of 5 microphones. This series included the famous ELAM 251, the ELAM 250, the ELAM 270 stereo microphone, and two small-diaphragm microphones.
TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik is proud to present its first small-diaphragm tube condenser microphone. Although not a historically exact reproduction of the original (unlike the "Diamond" series), this version is built with the same attention to detail and quality standards as its esteemed "Diamond" series counterparts.
