A hybrid set for smooth playability and detailed sound
The Thomastik John Pearse Folk Series Light SIB2 24 are aimed at guitarists seeking the flexibility of nylon with a precise feel under the fingers, particularly suited for arpeggios, rich voicings, and subtle fingerstyle dynamics. Their low tension provides a more relaxed playing experience, ideal for long sessions, while promoting natural vibrato and controlled attack.
The construction smartly differentiates the registers: the treble strings (E, B, G) use a flatwound on steel core for a smoother feel, reduced sliding noise, and clear articulation. The bass strings (D, A, E) feature a roundwound silver-plated bronze on nylon core, delivering a warm foundation, singing basses, and a balanced harmonic spectrum. A "Light" set perfect for those who prioritize comfort and finesse over high tension.
