What Dance EZX Is For
Dance EZX is an expansion designed to transform your Toontrack instrument into a rhythmic creation station focused on electronic music. It is aimed at producers and composers who want impactful, dense, and modern drums capable of holding the forefront in an EDM, house, techno, dance-pop, or electro mix, while remaining effective for hybrid productions (urban pop, film music, trailers, web content).
Beyond a simple "electronic drum kit," Dance EZX emphasizes the assembly of coherent layers: kicks, snares, claps, hats, percussion, textured elements, and effects are designed to work together. The result: you start with a kit with a strong character and quickly build a complete rhythm section, with variations, rises, and transitions, without spending hours stacking random one-shots.
Main Features
Kits Designed as Complete Sonic Identities
Each Dance EZX kit has been conceived as a "signature": not just a rhythmic base, but a set of complementary elements to support the track's aesthetic. The sounds are combined and layered to achieve solid impacts, clear transients, and immediate presence, while maintaining textures that provide depth in a club or radio context.
Organic and Electronic Hybridization
The core of the pack relies on blending sources: processed acoustic drums, machines and modern textures, classic percussion, and more experimental effects. This hybridization allows you to shift from a minimal and clean groove to a massive rhythm simply by changing kits and adjusting your MIDI playing. This is especially useful for current productions where drums need to be both physical, controlled, and expressive.
A Tonal Dimension to Create "Musical" Patterns
Dance EZX goes beyond percussive elements: it includes chromatically tuned tonal instruments. You can program patterns that interact with bass and synths, create melodic rhythmic responses, or build transitions (fills, hooks, calls) that reinforce the chorus identity. This is a quick way to add musicality without multiplying virtual instrument tracks.
Dedicated MIDI Grooves to Speed Up Workflow
For each kit, a dedicated MIDI pool is provided to offer grooves suited to the style and sonic intent of the kit. The goal is clear: start fast, find an immediately usable idea, then customize the programming according to your arrangement (more open verses, denser choruses, breaks, builds, drops). Whether you are comfortable with finger drumming or prefer piano-roll editing, this MIDI base helps you stay focused on writing and the final output.
Designed by a Producer Focused on Modern Electronic Music
The content was designed and produced by Timofey Reznikov, Belgian DJ, producer, and composer, to reflect current production standards: clean impacts, effective layers, and a selection of sonic elements designed to work quickly in a production context. You get a coherent raw material to produce contemporary, clean, and powerful drums without unnecessarily weighing down your session.
