An atypical recording, crafted for power

Recorded by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio, the collection benefits from a rare recording environment: a drum room installed inside an empty swimming pool. The hard, reflective surfaces (tiles, walls) generate a naturally bright reverb, while the brick structure adds density and depth. This combination creates an imposing, aggressive, and tight room sound, with a sense of space that remains focused and punchy.

Two complete kits ready to fit into a dense mix

Both complete kits are designed to work in heavy arrangements, with a sharp attack and solid foundation. The goal is not a "tame" drum sound: Dark Matter EZX targets clear transients, authoritative low end, and presence that cuts through a wall of guitars.
