A studio capture focused on performance and production

The expansion was recorded at Dugout Studio by Tomas Haake (Meshuggah) with sound engineer Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah). The content was then remixed by Mattias Eklund (Toontrack). This approach emphasizes sounds usable in metal contexts: a drum kit that responds quickly, "snaps" when needed, and maintains a stable foundation even in dense arrangements.

Beyond the sounds, Drumkit From Hell EZX includes a vast custom MIDI library designed by Fredrik Thordendal (Meshuggah), with additional MIDI content performed by Tomas Haake (Meshuggah), Owe Lingvall (Nocturnal Rites), Mattias Grahn (ex-Naglfar), and Efraim Juntunen (Persuader).
