Duality II EZX is a virtual drum sound library designed to speed up production in heavy rock and metal styles when you need a kit that effortlessly "cuts through the mix." It aims for a modern, sharp, and confident sound, ideal for saturated guitars, pick-driven basses, dense chords, and progressive arrangements where every hit must remain clear.
Thanks to its ready-to-mix sounds, you save time on EQ and dynamics while retaining enough palette flexibility to adjust the tone: from clean and bright melodic metal to incisive hard rock, including more experimental textures through combinations of snares, kick drums, and cymbals.

At the heart of Duality II EZX, you have a complete kit built to serve as a reliable foundation for most productions. Additional elements (multiple kick drums, snares, and cymbals) allow you to adjust response, attack, and brightness or create hybrid setups to match your tuning, tempo, and orchestration.
Presets and MIDI: A Fast Workflow for Composing and Producing
The included presets offer different interpretations of the kit and "ready-to-record" variations, ranging from more direct balances to more creative approaches. The dedicated MIDI library, performed by Alex Landenburg, facilitates writing: you can start from coherent grooves and fills, then edit velocity and articulation to personalize the playing and enhance musical intent.
