This expansion pack is designed to enrich your drum library in EZdrummer or Superior Drummer with an acoustic, intimate, and organic aesthetic. It is aimed at producers, composers, and beatmakers seeking credible drums to accompany vocals, acoustic guitars, pianos, lap steel, or folk sections, while maintaining clear definition. Thanks to the dry and controlled sound, you can easily switch from a subtle, close groove to a broader drum sound using your usual effects and processing.

Drums Designed for "Songwriter" Arrangements
The sound selection emphasizes playing in service of the song: natural attacks, controlled sustain, and usable dynamics for subtle verses as well as more powerful choruses. The kits were played with sticks from renowned brands (Ludwig, Yamaha, C&C, and others), and a Yamaha brush kit is included for soft atmospheres, ballads, and slow tempos.
Dry Room, Quick Mix
Recording in a small room with a transparent and dry sound provides a very clean base: less intrusive natural reverb, more control over stereo image and depth. This is an excellent starting point for a contemporary pop mix, minimalist folk, or Americana production where every instrument must remain clear.
MIDI Grooves and Mixing Presets for Speed
In addition to the instruments, you get MIDI files with typical genre grooves and fills, perfect for laying down a structure in minutes and then refining placement, variations, and accents. The 16 mixing presets also speed up workflow: choose a color (softer, more present, more percussive) and then adapt according to your arrangement.
Additional Percussion to Reinforce the Rhythm
To thicken a chorus or add movement without overloading the drums, additional percussion is included: tambourine, shakers, claps, sticks, etc. Ideal for creating rhythmic layers, doubling a backbeat, or supporting a strumming guitar.
