Universal Audio Apollo Twin X Quad Gen2 Analog Classics

A Desktop Reference in the Apollo Line

Designed for demanding creators, the Apollo Twin X stands as the premium desktop model in the range. It combines the musicality of Universal Audio converters and the "recording at the source" philosophy cherished by analog studios, all in a compact and robust chassis ready for the road or the main control room.

For Producers, Musicians, and Hybrid Creators

Beatmakers, guitarists, singers, podcasters, or mobile engineers will benefit from a fast workflow: ultra-low latency tracking via Console, the ability to "commit" Unison colors at the take, and expansion via ADAT to move from a minimalist setup to a 10x6 configuration without friction. Desktop ergonomics and the large central encoder speed up daily tasks.

Key Features and Innovations for a Modern Workflow

Unison Preamps and UAD Plug-ins

The two preamps adapt impedance, gain curve, and analog behavior of the emulated models to capture the attack of an API preamp, the warmth of a Neve, or the smoothness of a Manley right at recording. The UAD-2 Quad DSP lets you stack EQs, compressors, and legendary chambers while keeping your CPU free.

Precision Monitoring and Redesigned Console

With Apollo Monitor Correction powered by Sonarworks technology, your speakers and headphones deliver a more faithful room listening experience. New Console features - Auto-Gain, bass manager, plug-in scenes - ensure consistent levels, controlled low end, and instant chain recalls. Hardware controls for Mono, Mute, DIM, and ALT integrate into your studio's central control.
