From planting reeds to flow-pack packaging that protects reeds from moisture changes, Vandoren controls all stages of production of its famous reed tabs. Cut by hand, the canes are worn on the back of a man on the edge of a reed bed. They are then leafed, sun-dried, dried, sawn, arrowed, tabled, bevelled, ...
