A Ligature Designed as a Synthesis of Two References
The M/O was born from the idea of combining the lightness of a "Master" ligature with the tightening efficiency of an "Optimum" model. The result: a ligature with stable hold, designed to let the reed vibrate freely while securing its position during play.
For Whom and For What Uses?
Intended for clarinetists (from beginner to advanced levels) seeking simple installation and reliable tightening, in classical, wind band, brass band, or contemporary music. This version is designed for alto clarinet and ebonite mouthpiece.
Sound and Design
Its reverse tightening and two contact points limit stress on the reed: sound production gains in ease, attack becomes more clear-cut, and articulation more precise. Its black metal finish combines discretion and durability.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To complete your setup: alto clarinet reeds and a mouthpiece swab for regular maintenance.
