Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
The Vic Firth 7AVG fits within the spirit of the brand's iconic models: a drumstick designed by musicians, for musicians. The addition of the integrated grip, introduced as a significant innovation in 2009, responds to a simple demand: to gain security and comfort in hand without altering the feel of a true 7A.
Who This Drumstick/Instrument Is For
This 7A with grip targets drummers and percussionists seeking finesse and control: from the beginner who wants an easy-to-handle stick, to the intermediate and pro who play long sessions and want to reduce fatigue. Perfect for jazz, funk, pop, and acoustic/electric contexts where dynamics and precision are paramount (also suitable for timbales depending on touch preferences).
