Questions frequently asked
Are the Vic Firth BCS1 suitable for cymbal rolls?
The wool head promotes a gradual vibration of the cymbal. Rolls and crashes thus gain regularity, with a round and less aggressive attack.
What is the length of these cymbal mallets?
The stated length is 39.37 cm.
What sound does a red wool head produce?
The red wool head delivers a rounder attack and limits excess brightness. The resulting texture remains dense and even during controlled dynamics.
Are these soft mallets suitable for marching bands?
This soft model is intended for ensembles, especially marching bands, concert bands, and groups. Its design prioritizes playing comfort and bounce stability. It is suitable for both beginner and experienced percussionists.
Does the BCS1 handle have a grip?
The lack of grip ensures direct contact with the handle. Attack and angle on the cymbal can therefore be freely adjusted.
