This volume raises the bar with an introduction dedicated to developing speed and precision. You explore advanced techniques particularly effective in an acoustic context: "machine gun effect," right-hand muting, slap, tapping, slapped harmonics, and tremolo. The goal is to enrich your sonic palette and improve your articulation, whether you play with a pick, hybrid style, or fingerstyle.
The stylistic approach is intentionally broad: deepening Celtic music, blues, and modal improvisation, as well as immersion in "World Music" colors (reggae, African, Brazilian, norteño, conjunto).
