A "large format" benchmark in the spirit of professional pedalboard power supplies

The Pedal Power Mondo follows the logic of power supplies dedicated to demanding pedalboards: providing a stable, quiet, and organized power base, even when the setup becomes complex. Where a standard power supply can quickly show its limits (performance drop, noise, lack of outputs), the Mondo is designed to support musicians who combine multiple effect families: vintage overdrives and fuzz, modulations, delays, reverbs, as well as newer digital processors requiring more current. Handmade in the USA, it clearly targets "no compromise" setups and stages where reliability is non-negotiable.

Who benefits from the Pedal Power Mondo and in what uses does it make a difference?

This pedalboard power supply is aimed at guitarists and bassists who use a substantial, varied, and sometimes evolving pedalboard. If your chain includes digital effects known for high consumption (for example from Strymon, Eventide, Line 6, TC Electronic, and others), you need outputs capable of keeping up without generating hiss or unstable behavior. The Mondo is also an excellent choice for studio musicians: a regulated and filtered power supply helps preserve a clean signal, especially when stacking multiple gain pedals or noise-sensitive effects.

It is also suitable for "hybrid" configurations: a few 9 Volt analog pedals, some more power-hungry digital ones, and the need for clear wiring. Thanks to its separate outputs, you can organize power distribution rationally, pedal by pedal, without multiplying power bricks or external adapters.

Key Features: Silence, Stability, and Control

12 isolated, filtered, and regulated outputs

The heart of the Pedal Power Mondo is its separate outputs architecture: each output is isolated, filtered, and regulated. In practice, this helps limit unwanted noise (hum, hiss, interference) and maintain a more consistent power supply. This type of design is particularly appreciated when multiple pedals share the same pedalboard, especially if you combine digital and analog effects, or if you play in venues where the power supply is not ideal.

High current (mA) outputs for digital effects

Modern digital effects can require more current than traditional 9 Volt pedals. The Mondo includes 6 outputs offering higher current (mA) to meet these needs, helping to avoid dropouts, loss of dynamics, or instability that occur when the power supply is undersized. The result: your pedalboard remains responsive and reliable, even when the chain becomes ambitious.

"Sag" adjustment: the character of a dying battery

Two outputs feature a Sag adjustment, a function sought after by musicians who enjoy the "lively" behavior of certain pedals when they do not receive perfectly stable voltage. By simulating a dying 9 Volt battery, Sag can alter an effect's response (attack, compression, texture), becoming a creative tool to adjust the feel, especially on certain sensitive circuits.

Intelligent thermal management: controlled silent fan

To maintain regular operating conditions, the Pedal Power Mondo integrates an internal thermometer that controls a silent fan. The goal is to keep an adequate and constant temperature, useful when the power supply is working on a loaded pedalboard, during long rehearsals or on stage. This approach contributes to overall stability and worry-free daily use.

Clean power even on a "poor" power line

Another important advantage: even when the electrical installation is not optimal, the Mondo is claimed to provide clean and stable power. This is a key point for mobile musicians (clubs, shared stages, festivals), where power quality can vary and directly impact background noise and effect reliability.
