The Walkasse Eva Case DDJ-REV1 is a shockproof case specifically designed for the DDJ-REV1 DJ controller. Its goal is clear: to offer a lightweight and reliable protection solution, more practical than a traditional flight case, while maintaining excellent support for transport to studio, rehearsals, or gigs.
With its sleek black design and travel-oriented construction, it easily integrates into a mobile DJ setup and fits effortlessly into a trunk, transport rack, or airplane cabin depending on travel conditions.
For Which DJs and Uses?
This case is aimed at both beginner and experienced DJs who use a DDJ-REV1 and want to protect their controller daily: commuting to classes, sessions with friends, private parties, bars, small venues, or event gigs. The lightweight format is particularly suited for mobile DJs who often carry their gear by hand or on the shoulder.
It is also perfectly suitable as a storage solution at home or in the studio, to limit exposure to dust and minor impacts, while maintaining quick access to the equipment thanks to a convenient opening.
Features and Innovations
The structure is based on a 7 mm compression-molded EVA shell, combined with a dual-density mold to enhance impact absorption. The exterior is made of ballistic nylon 1680D with a waterproof PU coating to increase resistance to abrasion and travel hazards (humidity, splashes, heavy handling).
Inside, the velvet lining minimizes micro-scratches and provides a softer contact with the controller. The lid includes a removable egg-crate foam (density 18 kg/m3, thickness 35 mm) to hold the device securely and limit movement. The base is lined with a removable flat foam (density 33 kg/m3, thickness 10 mm) to stabilize the whole and improve protection on support points.
Ergonomically, Walkasse offers an invisible zipper for a cleaner look and better protection of the zip against snags. Two transport modes are included: dual-strap top handle for quick grip, and removable padded shoulder strap for longer trips. Finally, the case is announced as Decksaver compatible, a real plus if you already use a hard cover on your controller.
