The Walkasse Eva Case MCB-XDJXZ MK2 is a shockproof case dedicated to large-format DJ controllers, designed to offer an excellent balance between protection and mobility. Its "reinforced soft case" approach (EVA + foam) makes it a relevant alternative to heavier flight cases while maintaining real everyday security. It is designed to fit the Pioneer DJ XDJ-XZ and DDJ-RZ2.

This model is aimed at mobile DJs, hosts, event professionals, and club DJs who regularly transport their controller and want a reliable, lightweight, and quick-to-handle solution. It is also very suitable for studio use when you want to protect your controller from dust and minor impacts while keeping setup simple. Note: the case is delivered without controller or cables.

Features and Innovations

The 8 mm compression-molded EVA structure combined with a dual-density mold improves impact absorption during transport. The exterior made of 1680D ballistic nylon with a waterproof PU coating helps protect against moisture and splashes, while the velvet interior limits micro-scratches.

Controller retention is ensured by two key elements: a removable internal egg crate foam lid (density 18 kg/m3, thickness 35 mm) and a removable flat foam base (density 33 kg/m3, thickness 10 mm). Decksaver compatibility is a real plus for DJs who want to add rigid top protection, especially for jog wheels, faders, and encoders.

For transport, Walkasse includes two complementary solutions: a top handle with 2 straps for quick moves, and a removable padded shoulder strap to distribute weight on longer journeys. The invisible zipper enhances the premium look and reduces snags.
