Sound
The AA solid spruce top delivers a clear attack and beautiful openness, ideal for making the note stand out in an acoustic context. The laminated bubinga back and sides enhance focus and sustain while promoting good stability across seasons. The mahogany neck / wenge fingerboard combination adds body in the low-midrange with appreciable definition to keep the bass line clear.
Plugged in, the Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup aims for a natural and precise sound, while the Presys Plus (EQ, notch, phase, brilliance, and tuner) helps adjust the bass in the mix and better manage feedback risks on stage.
