This 5-string RockBass adopts these codes (house hardware, familiar silhouette, strong sonic identity) in a configuration designed for everyday use: rehearsals, studio, and stage.

This 5-string electric bass is aimed at intermediate to advanced musicians seeking extended low range (B string) without sacrificing comfort. It is particularly suited for styles requiring solid foundation and precision: rock, metal, funk, gospel, pop, and contemporary music, where one can easily alternate between a round tone and a more percussive playing style.

The Sound

The combination of a laminated maple body and a glued neck promotes a clear response, with good note sustain and an articulate attack, ideal for a 5-string bass. The wenge fingerboard provides a precise feel under the fingers and a naturally defined grain in the upper spectrum. On the amplification side, the vintage passive MEC single-coil pickups deliver clear articulation, while the active RockBass electronics allow shaping the tone from a dense low end to a more biting register. The Volume / Volume / Tone / Tone controls and the 3-position switch for coil splitting offer useful variations to adapt to the mix and playing style.
