A Rare German Edition Designed to Last
Designed in Germany in a strictly limited series of 100 pieces, this 5-string bass is aimed at both collectors and demanding musicians. The walnut/flamed maple duo offers a high-end lutherie aesthetic, complemented by Warwick hardware known for its stability and longevity. Every detail targets long-term reliability, whether in the studio or on stage.
For Which Bassist and Styles?
Ideal for intermediate to expert levels, it excels in funk, pop, rock, gospel, and fusion. The fifth string extends the low range, while the Bartolini MM + Jazz combination covers everything from snapping slap to warm fingerstyle lines and tight pick grooves.
Sound Characteristics
The "MM Style" pickup delivers full lows and precise attack, while the "Jazz" pickup adds definition and midrange grain. The 3-position selector and stacked Treble/Bass potentiometers (passive circuit) allow adjusting brightness or foundation without altering the organic Bartolini character. The wenge neck provides a dry and fast response, the tiger ebony fingerboard enhances articulation, and the jumbo brass frets add bite and sustain. The 2-piece bridge optimizes intonation and vibration transmission for exemplary note sustain.
