Panorama 7 is a virtual acoustics processor designed for producers, sound designers, and podcasters who want to place each source in a credible three-dimensional space. It excels at binaural headphone mixing, creating musical spatial movements, stereo widening on speakers, and virtual monitoring of stereo or surround setups.
Main Features
Precise Binaural Spatialization
The engine is based on Head-Related Impulse Responses (HRIR). Load your own HRIRs, including SOFA format via the Sofa2Pan conversion app, and benefit from the "Near Head Model" for more accurate rendering of very close sources. Dedicated "Stereo Pan" and "Stereo Passthru" profiles facilitate traditional panning and binaural-to-speaker conversion, respectively.
Depth, Realism, and Movement
The room simulation combines early reflections and diffuse reverberation to anchor sources in a coherent space, while distance models and the Doppler effect naturally convey variations in speed and distance.
Creative Control and Ergonomics
The position sequencer draws trajectories between key points for smooth automations and rhythmic effects. The modernized interface offers a larger panning area, front/side/rear views, and zoom for precise placement.
