5 "Character" chains for guitar sounds ready to mix

The core of Maserati GTi is based on five characters, each designed as an optimized chain: Clean for clear and solid tones, Clean Chorus for chorus width ranging from subtle to deep, Heavy for crunch guitars that cut through a busy mix, Thick Rhythm to thicken and energize rhythms, and Soft Flange for softer modulated textures. The idea is simple: choose an intention, then quickly refine without multiplying plugins.

Musical controls and transient management

GTi preserves the essence of the instrument while facilitating a more "produced" sound. The "Tame" parameter is used to control peaks and thicken the guitar's body, useful for taming an overly aggressive attack, smoothing a rhythm part, or making a clean tone firmer. The plugin also supports being driven harder: it accepts saturation and can generate more bite and crunch when pushed.

Modulations and effects calibrated for guitar

The effect options are adapted to each character to achieve modulations that remain credible in a mix. GTi notably offers a rotating speaker-type effect as well as vibrato effects, useful for adding movement without making the guitar sound blurry. The chorus was designed to convince even guitarists usually reluctant to use it, with a range from simple thickness to wide stereo spread.

Fast workflow: presets and integration into an existing chain

With its 34 presets, Maserati GTi serves as an immediate starting point for different playing styles and productions. Placed before an amp or simulator, it can act as a true pre-processing that adds feel and a more realistic response. Placed after distortion or simulation, it becomes a finishing tool to anchor the guitar and make it "sit" in the arrangement.
