It is aimed at producers, mixers, and engineers who want to enhance the presence of a vocal, sculpt acoustic instruments, thicken a bass, or add openness to a mix, with a "musical first" approach typical of vintage console equalizers.

In "in the box" mixing, V-EQ3 is especially useful when you want to push a source forward in the mix, add body without heaviness, or add a bright "air" top end without harshness. It also works very well on subgroups (drums bus, guitar bus, choirs) and as a finishing touch on stems, where a modern EQ might sound too clinical.

The V-EQ3 captures the spirit of historic equalizers where each frequency had a precise sonic purpose. The result: you get a natural and colored sound with very few adjustments, thanks to carefully chosen curves and slopes. Expressive mids: pushing a source forward

The mid section offers 10 bell frequencies selected purely for musical reasons. An effective approach is to insert it as the last insert, flatten the EQ, then activate the analog option to obtain an "in the box" console color.
