What Addictive Drums 2: Studio Prog ADpak Is For
Studio Prog ADpak is designed to quickly produce modern drum tracks dedicated to progressive rock and hybrid styles (technical rock, prog metal, fusion, experimental). It is especially suitable for tracks where the drums must remain clear despite changing time signatures, ghost notes, subtle accents, and powerful hits. Whether you compose, program in MIDI, or finalize a demo, this extension provides a premium kit with a character that is both raw and controlled, ideal for detailed productions.
Main Features
A high-end and expressive DW Collector's Series kit
At the heart of this ADpak is a DW Collector's Series drum kit, often considered a studio reference. Its identity is designed to handle the typical playing variations of prog: delicate passages, precise rolls, explosive breaks, and quick transitions. The result remains balanced, with a sense of depth and presence that integrates easily into a mix.
A rich but controlled sound for complex arrangements
When guitars layer, bass becomes melodic, and patterns grow complex, the drums must maintain their articulation. Studio Prog emphasizes a detailed and punchy sound, with a "gritty" texture without losing control of transients. This facilitates the placement of kicks and snares in modern productions while preserving organic musicality.
"Production-ready" presets and customization
The included presets serve as efficient starting points to quickly achieve a usable sound, whether writing, recording a demo, or progressing on a mix. Then, you can refine your sound according to the track, MIDI velocity, and playing intentions, moving from a bright and precise prog style to a rawer, more aggressive aesthetic.
