What XO Expansion: Trap Is For
XO Expansion: Trap is a sound and preset expansion designed to speed up the creation of Trap, Hip-Hop, and related productions (Melodic Trap, Drill, Hybrid Trap). It provides a targeted selection of drum kits and percussive textures to quickly build a solid rhythmic foundation and then evolve it without breaking the flow. Ideal for composing instrumentals, toplines, or finalizing a production with a clear and contemporary rhythmic signature.
Main Features
Trap Presets Editable in XO
The 75 included presets leverage XO's sequencer to deliver immediately usable patterns. Each preset remains fully editable: adjust hit placement, velocity, accents, and tailor the groove to your style, from dark minimal to stage-ready bangers.
Handcrafted and Coherent Samples
With 160+ genre-specific samples, this expansion focuses on clean transients and a confident Trap aesthetic: deep kicks, tight snares, snappy hats, textured claps, and percussion. The result is a homogeneous sound that mixes quickly without spending hours searching for the right layer.
Variation Creation and Smart Replacement
XO allows you to replace a sound with close alternatives in one click, quickly testing different colors while keeping the rhythmic intent. You can also filter and generate variations to explore ideas, refine the energy of a drop, or get a sharper hi-hat roll without starting from scratch.
