A Key Module in the Modular "MORE YOU" Approach
The XVive More You 2X fits the logic of a modern studio where each musician (or participant) wants a custom headphone mix without complicating the wiring. Rather than multiplying headphone outputs, headphone amps, and returns, the MORE YOU system relies on an extensible architecture: units are added where needed, close to the artists. The 2X is designed as an extension of the system to expand an existing setup and provide an additional station with two inputs and dedicated headphone monitoring.
Who and What For: Recording, Multi-Headphone Sessions, and Spoken Content
This module is designed for situations where quick setup and monitoring comfort make a difference: home studio recording (singer, guitarist, keyboards), studio tracking with multiple musicians, or podcasting and content creation with multiple voices. Each station can adjust its volume, balance, and reverb, which limits requests during takes and helps achieve better performances. Thanks to zero-latency direct monitoring, the artist maintains a natural feel even when the computer and DAW are heavily loaded.
Features: A True Monitoring Station with Recording Tools
Two Complete Channels, Ready for Mics and Line Sources
With its two combo XLR/6.35 mm jack inputs, the More You 2X allows connecting a microphone, a line source, or two signals (for example, vocals and instrument, or a stereo source). Processing functions per input, such as high-pass filter and phase inversion, are valuable for cleaning up excessive low frequencies, correcting phase issues, or stabilizing a take quickly without breaking the session flow.
Immediate Listening: Zero Latency and Personal Mix
The module integrates zero-latency direct monitoring, essential for comfortable recording. Individual mixing per channel allows the user to balance their sources as needed and add reverb to regain a more "musical" feel on headphones, often crucial for vocals and exposed instruments. Result: less fatigue, more confidence, and more consistent takes.
Talkback and Automatic Gain: Smoother Sessions
The Talkback function ensures bidirectional communication between stations, useful in the booth, for remote recording in another room, or simply to give directions without removing headphones. Automatic gain helps quickly establish a usable level, a real plus when switching microphones, participants, or instruments rapidly and wanting to stay focused on performance rather than technicalities.
"MORE" Connectivity: Simple Integration into the System
The MORE port connects the More You 2X to the system hub via a standard XLR cable. This approach facilitates setup expansion, reduces clutter, and keeps a clean installation on a recording stage or in a home studio space.
