A Key Component of the PX Personal Monitoring System
The Xvive PX-A is the mixer/headphone amplifier unit of the PX system: a solution designed to create a simple and modular personal monitoring setup. Paired with the snake PX-B (and, if needed, the hub PX-H ), it allows distribution of multiple individual mixes while maintaining lightweight and tidy cabling thanks to audio transport over Ethernet cable.
Who Is It For and In What Contexts?
Ideal for vocalists, guitarists, keyboardists, drummers, and instrumentalists in general who want precise in-ear monitoring live, in rehearsal, or in the studio. The PX-A is particularly suited for setups aiming to reduce stage volume and secure listening (rhythmic cues, vocals, instruments) with immediate control at the belt.

Questions frequently asked
Does the XVive PX-A work with in-ear headphones?
The 3.5 mm stereo TRS mini-jack output is designed for stage headphones and earphones with an impedance from 8 to 80 ohms. The maximum power output is 2 x 150 mW at 16 ohms.
How many mixes can be adjusted on this PX unit?
Three channels each have an independent level control. DIP switches allow assigning each channel to the left, center, or right in the stereo image.
What is the maximum Ethernet cable length possible with the PX-A?
The RJ45/etherCON connection on a Cat 5 cable supports transmission distances of up to approximately 60 meters. Connection is made via the PX-B snake and can include the PX-H hub depending on the setup.
Can the PX-A operate on batteries?
Two AAA batteries provide about 5 hours of runtime. PoE power supply is also supported, requiring 9 V DC / 2 A with negative center polarity.
Is the PX-A unit suitable for on-stage use?
Its 150 g metal chassis and belt clip make it easy to wear during rehearsals or live performances. Direct access to the three channel levels allows personal monitor adjustments on the belt.
