To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Série L, this Série 16 stands out as the first all-solid model of the new generation. It retains the historical DNA of the line (meticulous craftsmanship, classic aesthetics), enriched with current evolutions: A.R.E. now standard on Série L models, new bracing for improved balance and power, and a vintage neck profile for immediate comfort.

For Whom and Which Styles?

With its Small Body format, this guitar targets players seeking a natural feel and quick response, both in strumming and fingerstyle. It is well suited for intermediate to advanced levels (and demanding beginners), for styles such as pop, folk, modern acoustic, vocal accompaniment, or more nuanced arrangements where dynamics make the difference.

The Sound

The solid Engelmann spruce top delivers a smooth and detailed attack with great sensitivity to nuances: airy highs, singing mids, and expressive dynamics are easily achieved. The solid mahogany back and sides enhance warmth and clarity, with clean lows and excellent overall balance. The new bracing contributes to projection and power reserve, while the Small Body format promotes precision and playing comfort. When plugged in, the SRT Zero Impact Pickup combined with a passive preamplifier is designed to remain discreet and respect the traditional aesthetic, while offering usable amplification without altering the acoustic character.
