What is striking as soon as you switch on is the quantity of pre-installed sounds. It's just freaky. We go through the categories and everything sounds: the pianos are deep, the pads are super wide and the new analog sounds of the AN-X engine provide incredible warmth.
You plug in, you choose a sound and you're ready to play. No need to rummage through complex submenus for hours to come up with something right. The screen is super intuitive, even for those who are new to this kind of workstation. As always with Yamaha, the sound is clean, dynamic, and fits perfectly into a mix, whether for stage or studio composition.
