A Mouthpiece Born from Yamaha "Signature" Expertise
For decades, Yamaha has developed specific mouthpieces with top-tier musicians in its R&D workshops. The Signature Series captures the spirit of these artist models: meticulous work on the cup, rim, and shank to achieve a consistent playing feel, reliable response, and a distinct tonal character.
For Which Musicians and Styles
This Yamaha mouthpiece is aimed at intermediate to advanced musicians seeking a stable and expressive model, suitable for playing in orchestras, concert bands/wind ensembles, as well as more modern repertoires where projection and flexibility are essential.
Tone and Design
The 25.11 mm cup diameter promotes a full sound, while the 6.25 mm rim width contributes to good airflow and a feeling of freedom. The semi-thin rim aids precision and responsiveness, and the silver-plated finish provides comfort on contact as well as a classic aesthetic, ready for both stage and stand.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To protect your mouthpiece daily, a universal mouthpiece case (padded pouch) and a microfiber cloth are simple and useful choices, with no compatibility constraints.
