The Portable of the Piaggero Family
Designed in the lineage of ultra-light Piaggero keyboards, the Yamaha NP-35 positions itself as a simple and inspiring 76-key instrument. It combines a compact size and immediate playability while incorporating the essential features of a modern digital piano for study, leisure, and mobile practice.
Keyboard Design
The 76-key "Graded Soft Touch" keyboard offers graded touch sensitivity (heavier in the bass, lighter in the treble) for a piano-like feel. The velocity sensitivity is adjustable (Soft, Medium, Hard, or Fixed) to tailor the dynamic response to your playing, from the most delicate nuance to a more energetic touch.
Sound Quality
The NP-35 relies on AWM Stereo Sampling technology, which captures the rich tone of a Yamaha grand piano. You have access to 15 versatile voices (pianos, strings, etc.) and a 64-note polyphony. The 6 W x 2 amplification system paired with 12 cm x 8 cm speakers ensures balanced projection, with a Sound Boost mode for added presence when needed.
Built-in Effects
- Reverb: 6 types to simulate spaces from small rooms to large halls.
- Sound Boost: enhances attack and sound projection.
- Dual/Layer: layer two voices (e.g., piano + strings) to enrich your textures.
