Developed in collaboration with one of the masters of jazz fusion, the Pacifica Signature Mike Stern PA1611MSNT retains the "workhorse" DNA of the Pacifica range while incorporating decidedly modern choices. The addition of the I.R.A. treatment aims to reduce tensions between the different elements (wood, finish, neck, fingerboard, nut, bridge) to improve resonance and response speed from the very first notes. All of this is part of a high-end approach, reinforced by handcrafted production in Japan and a certificate signed by the artist.

This electric guitar is primarily aimed at intermediate to expert guitarists seeking a precise, expressive, and stable instrument capable of shifting from very articulated playing to more pronounced distortion. Naturally oriented towards jazz fusion (fast phrases, clear attacks, fine dynamics), it is also comfortable in blues, rock, and pop whenever a defined sound and a comfortable neck are desired. The one-piece maple neck with a lacquered finish promotes a smooth feel for both legato and pick playing.

Sound

The alder/ash body provides a very effective balance: alder tends toward a homogeneous and musical midrange, while ash adds attack and clarity, useful for complex chords and fast runs. On the pickups side, the Duncan 59 delivers a warm, open, and singing humbucker tone, ideal for rich clean sounds and leads with natural sustain. The Duncan Hot Rail, with a more aggressive and compressed character, pushes the amp further with excellent presence and an output level suited to biting rhythms and sharper solos. Together, they produce a responsive guitar with great definition and the ability to cut through the mix without sacrificing warmth.
