The idea is to retain the essentials of a serious audio chain (D-PRE preamps, high-definition conversion, internal DSP processing) but make it more straightforward to operate with accessible controls and a logic designed for speed. Whereas a traditional studio setup often requires multiple software and routings, the URX-C focuses on immediate usability, simpler monitoring organization, and integration adapted to content creation, especially when alternating between recording, listening, and streaming.

Designed to support rapid progress, the URX-C is particularly suited for musicians, singers, podcasters, video creators, and streamers who want to significantly improve sound quality without turning every session into a configuration ordeal. Its inputs allow recording a voice with a condenser microphone (with +48 V), a guitar or bass via the Hi-Z input, as well as line sources like a keyboard, drum machine, or external preamp.
