A Rack Designed to Complement the Miza Ecosystem Without Disrupting Your Control Room

When your desk is already optimized and the number of outboard gear increases, the challenge is no longer just to "fit" equipment, but to maintain a smooth workflow and a coherent visual appearance. The Zaor Miza Rack 16 Mk II fits this logic: it is an external rack furniture designed to integrate naturally with Miza configurations while providing serious and immediately usable storage space.
The philosophy of this Mk II version remains clear: to offer a robust, elegant, and studio-oriented rack where device access, ventilation, and cable management are considered essential elements of the audio chain, just as much as the quality of the processing gear you install inside.

Who Is It For and What Are Its Uses? A 16U Rack Tailored for Outboard Gear

This rack is aimed at demanding home studios as well as professional studios that want to consolidate their hardware processing in a dedicated, stable, and practical space. With 16U, you can build a complete outboard section: one or two multichannel preamps, one or more compressors, a stereo equalizer, a de-esser, a multi-effects unit, or even a rackmount interface or converter, all while maintaining a clear layout.
In practice, it is also an ideal solution if you want to remove some devices from your main desk to gain comfort: less clutter on the workspace, fewer cables crossing the control room, and more logical access to the controls you actually use during recording and mixing.

Ventilation, Storage, and Daily Comfort: The Mk II Approach

A studio rack is more than just a support: it is an environment for your machines. The open back of the Miza Rack Mk II is a real advantage as soon as you stack devices that generate heat. Air circulates more freely, which helps keep the setup calmer on a daily basis, especially during long sessions.

A Drawer That Changes Studio Life

The lower drawer is a detail that quickly becomes indispensable: you centralize items that usually clutter the desk (adapters, spare patches, velcro strips, small parts, documentation). The result: a cleaner workspace and, above all, less time lost when troubleshooting cabling or preparing a session.

A Useful, Not Decorative, Top Shelf

The large top shelf offers you an immediately usable auxiliary surface. Depending on your workflow, it can hold a laptop for a quick session, a small controller, headphones, or simply serve as a "drop zone" to keep the control room organized. In a studio, these few dozen square centimeters often make the difference between a practical setup and a frustrating one.
