Zildjian A' CUSTOM 20"

Historical Context and Positioning Within the Range

With its identity announced as a "refined classic sound," the Avedis cymbal continues a historic timbre while claiming a more contemporary approach. The idea is not to reinvent tradition but to offer a more precise and dynamic interpretation: a cymbal capable of retaining the "original Avedis" grain while gaining in response speed and brightness. Within a range, it naturally positions itself as a new standard for those seeking an immediately recognizable signature, yet adapted to the modern demands of playing and production.

Who This Drum/Instrument Is For

The Avedis cymbal targets both the intermediate drummer looking to move to a more defined sound and the experienced musician in search of a reliable, expressive tool that is easy to place both live and in the studio. Its fast and bright profile works particularly well in pop, rock, funk, fusion, and contemporary music where the attack must remain clear, even as arrangements become denser. If you play with close miking or in contexts where every nuance counts, its "clear and pure" quality helps maintain separation between kit elements.
