Historical Context and Range Positioning
In Turkish tradition, the cymbal is not a mere drum kit accessory: it is a hand-shaped instrument, passed down through generations, where each step (shaping, hammering, lathe work) aims to sculpt the material to reveal its personality. This "old-fashioned" approach places these cymbals within a high-end philosophy focused on authenticity, musicality, and the uniqueness of each piece. The result claims a timeless identity: a cymbal with a strong character, designed to transcend styles and years.
Who This Cymbal Is For
These cymbals are intended for intermediate to expert drummers seeking an organic response, fine nuances, and a complex harmonic palette. They are particularly suited to aesthetics where the cymbal must "sing" without dominating: modern jazz, blues, soul, acoustic music, fusion, post-rock, as well as studio contexts where depth and texture are paramount. For beginners, they can also be a passionate choice, provided they have the ear and desire to tame an expressive cymbal, less "standardized" than an industrial model.
