Agean 12" Splash Rock Master

Historical context and position within the range

The 12-inch Rock Master Splash is part of Agean's range of handcrafted cymbals, a brand that manufactures its instruments in Uzunköprü, Turkey. The Rock Master series is designed for drummers looking for an energetic response, a strong presence and projection capable of cutting through a dense mix. It combines traditional cymbal-making methods with a modern sonic approach, particularly suited to amplified music.

Thanks to its pronounced hammering and different lathing zones, this Splash is more than just a simple bright effect. It develops a more textured personality, with a crisp attack and a character robust enough to punctuate drum parts with authority.

Who this cymbal is for

This Agean Rock Master Splash is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced drummers, but it will also suit demanding beginners looking to complete their set with an expressive effect cymbal. Its 12-inch size offers an excellent balance between fast response, volume and sustain.

It naturally lends itself to rock, hard rock, metal, punk, energetic pop and alternative music. Its powerful attack is ideal for highlighting breaks, accentuating a transition or adding a more explosive color to a groove. It can also bring contrast to a more versatile set, alongside crashes and larger cymbals.
