This range is notably distinguished by a pragmatic design choice: a single flexible section and a direct assembly between the gooseneck and the capsule, to reduce vulnerable points while maintaining excellent ergonomics on tables or lecterns.

A Microphone Designed for Speech (Even When the Speaker Moves)

This gooseneck microphone is particularly suitable for meeting rooms, city councils, auditoriums, places of worship, reception lecterns, or any environment where voice intelligibility is essential. Thanks to its cardioid directivity and an opening angle of 125 deg, it better tolerates speakers who do not speak perfectly facing the microphone, whether due to lack of habit or slight movements during speech. The result: more consistent capture, with better level coherence and increased listening comfort for the audience and sound systems.

A specific feature of the Discreet Compact series is that the gooseneck and capsule form an indivisible unit. The front grille is attached to the gooseneck and the internal contacts are soldered. This architecture aims to protect the condenser capsule from mechanical stress and improve resistance to electromagnetic interference, an important aspect in fixed installations where lighting, power supplies, networks, and audio equipment coexist.

3-Pin XLR Connector and Professional Finish

The base includes a XLR connector with gold-plated contacts, while the metal body houses the microphone's electronic components.
