A WMS 420 Solution Designed for Mobility... and Installation
The WMS 420 series was created to meet the needs of users who alternate between mobile use (performances, events) and fixed installation (rooms, stages, equipped venues). The principle is clear: a complete and flexible system capable of handling multiple simultaneous transmissions within the same band, while remaining easy to deploy. In this setup, the SR420 + HT420 duo focuses on efficiency: a fixed-frequency UHF receiver at the rack/console side, and a robust handheld transmitter on stage.
For Whom and For What Uses? Live Vocals, Hosting, Public Speaking
This system is primarily aimed at singers, hosts, speakers, and technical teams looking for a reliable wireless solution for vocals. The supercardioid directivity of the D5 capsule helps better isolate the source (the voice) and limit ambient sound pickup, a tangible advantage on stage, in front of monitors, or in reverberant spaces.
In multi-mic contexts, the announced compatibility of up to 8 channels per band facilitates setups with multiple speakers, choirs, small ensembles, or corporate events. On the integration side, the 1U half-width format of the receiver allows easy insertion into a control room or rack (with optional kit), while maintaining a "field" approach.

The handheld transmitter operates up to 8 hours with a 1.5 V AA alkaline LR6 battery.
What audio outputs are available on the receiver?

Can multiple wireless microphones be used in the same setup?
Up to 8 channels per band are specified for multi-microphone configurations. The receiver's antennas are removable. Antenna splitters or directional antennas can be used according to installation needs.
