A compact mixer designed for modern needs (rehearsals, light live performances, streaming)
The MP10USB is positioned as an "all-in-one" solution in the spirit of small, versatile consoles: enough channels to handle a duo, a small band or a conference, while retaining a format that is easy to transport and a clear control surface. Its approach is straightforward: one fader per channel strip, essential controls accessible without menus, and a digital section that simplifies playback, recording and broadcasting.
This efficient simplicity makes it particularly relevant when you need to set up quickly, work neatly and retain genuine mixing comfort without the burden of bulkier equipment.
Who it is for and what it is for: sound reinforcement, rehearsing, recording and content creation
The Woodbrass MP10 is aimed at musicians who want to provide sound for a rehearsal or a small performance, associations and presenters who need a clear vocal mix, as well as content creators looking for a top capable of handling multiple sources while facilitating stereo recording on a computer.
Thanks to the mono mic/line inputs, you can mix lead vocals, a guitar via a preamp/DI, or ambient microphones. The stereo channels are ideally suited to a keyboard, a drum module, an audio player or an audio interface output. Finally, wireless audio playback is convenient for launching background music, an ambient bed or backing tracks without occupying an additional physical input.
Control, processing and connectivity: a top focused on the essentials without overlooking convenience
4 full mono channels for sensitive sources
The four mono inputs use XLR/6.35 mm Jack combo connectors, suitable for both microphones and line-level sources. Each channel strip features an input pad (-26 dB) to prevent loud signals from clipping, a gain control, an integrated compressor to stabilize vocals or bass, and 3-band equalization to place the source in the mix.
Peak indicators help set levels, while the AUX/FX send allows you to route the channel to a monitor mix or to the internal effects. The PFL function, which is highly useful in real-world situations, allows you to monitor a channel "in solo" before sending it to the main mix.
3 stereo channels for keyboards, modules and players
Channels 5/6, 7/8 and 9/10 are designed for line-level stereo sources. Channels 5/6 and 7/8 also feature RCA inputs, which are convenient for quickly connecting consumer equipment. As with the mono channel strips, they include 3-band equalization, a balance control, an AUX/FX send, PFL and a dedicated fader for direct, intuitive control.
Channel 9/10 can also receive the signal from the USB player or the wireless audio connection, making it an ideal channel strip for managing background music or backing tracks.
USB-A, USB-B and wireless audio: simplified playback and recording
The integrated digital section is designed to save time: playback and recording of files via the USB-A port, and connection to a computer via USB-B to play or record the stereo mix at 48 kHz. For events or streaming, this is an efficient way to capture a performance or send an audio program without multiplying the number of external boxes.
The wireless audio connection allows you to stream quickly from a compatible device. Playback controls (play/pause, track change, volume) remain accessible on the front panel, a real advantage when you need to manage the atmosphere without leaving the control position.
99 integrated effects and AUX: added depth without additional equipment
The internal processor offers 99 effects designed to enrich vocals, give an acoustic guitar more space or add a reverb key to a keyboard. The selected program is displayed on a dedicated screen, and each channel has its own AUX/FX level control to send more or less effect depending on the source.
The independent AUX output can be used to power a stage monitor, an external processor or a dedicated monitoring circuit, significantly improving musicians' comfort and the overall clarity of the mix.
Broadcasting and monitoring: comprehensive outputs and headphone monitoring
To adapt to different sound reinforcement systems, the MP10USB offers stereo main outputs on XLR and 6.35 mm Jack, stereo monitor outputs and a 6.35 mm Jack headphone output. The +48 V phantom power allows you to use compatible condenser microphones, an important feature for vocals and more detailed recording.
