An Extension Designed to Evolve the SQ Ecosystem
Designed to extend the flexibility of SQ systems, SLink technology was developed as an intelligent port capable of automatically identifying the connected equipment and adapting its operating mode. This card applies the same principle to the expansion slot, opening the console up to a wider range of digital split, stagebox expansion and audio distribution scenarios.
What Is It Used For?
The SQ SLink is aimed at sound engineers, rental companies and system integrators who want to retain the native SLink port while adding a second independent link. It is particularly well suited to FOH/monitor configurations, broadcast splits, or an SQ console connected in parallel to DX, GX and dSnake stageboxes and an ME personal monitoring system.
Intelligent Operation Without Complicating the Patch
Setup remains straightforward thanks to plug-and-play installation in the consoleâs I/O port. The port features a locking EtherCon connector and automatically switches between dSnake/ME, DX and gigaACE modes according to the detected equipment, with independent SRC when two different protocols coexist within the same system.
