Alvarez RU26CCE

Regent Series: The Alvarez Spirit, Accessible and Well-Built

The RU26CCE is part of the Regent Series, a carefully crafted entry point into the Alvarez universe: serious construction, coherent component choices, and a satin finish that promotes wood breathing. The goal is clear: to offer a reliable, accurate, and expressive ukulele capable of evolving with you, including amplified setups thanks to its integrated electronics.

An Electro-Acoustic Concert Ukulele to Progress and Play Anywhere

This model is especially suited for beginners seeking a stable and rewarding instrument, as well as intermediate players looking for a comfortable concert ukulele with a simple amplification solution. Its balanced response works very well in pop, folk, chanson, light reggae accompaniment, and fingerstyle playing. The preamp with tuner allows quick switching from acoustic sessions to direct input on an amplifier or audio interface.

Sound

The spruce top delivers attack, definition, and clear articulation, particularly appreciated for arpeggios and open chords. The African mahogany back and sides complement the sound with a warmer tone, present mids, and a rounded feel. The fan bracing promotes free vibration of the top, enhancing projection and supporting natural sustain in the concert format. Finally, the bone nut and Techwood bridge contribute to efficient vibration transmission, providing a consistent tone across the neck.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

For worry-free daily use, prioritize a padded concert-sized gig bag and a set of concert ukulele strings (such as Aquila Nylgut) for replacements. A wood instrument humidifier is also advisable if you play in very dry or heated environments.
