Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

The Rocket Bass RB-112 draws inspiration from Ampeg combos of the 1960s, adopting their vintage aesthetic and effective simplicity. Within the Rocket Bass family, it holds a central position: more robust and full-bodied than a small practice combo, yet easier to transport than larger stage models. It aims for the perfect balance between power, portability, and Ampeg character.

Who This Amp Is For

Ideal for intermediate to advanced bassists, the RB-112 easily covers rehearsals, small to medium gigs, and home recording. Rock, pop, funk, soul, indie, or hip-hop: its versatile range features solid lows and a clear attack that sits well in the mix, whether played fingerstyle or with a pick.

  1. Ar C.

Notice to owners of the entire RB series.
The Ampeg check must certainly be done on the exterior visual before packaging... I have the RB-210 & RB-112 and both have the same problem, namely an internal sound insulation that is not glued or poorly glued, poorly positioned, falling on the vent and completely missing on the top and bottom. Carefully drop your HP and stick back together by re-positioning by completing the internal sound insulator.
Having two sets of the RB I find the RB-112 too colorful, slightly muddy at the bottom (but a bit better since I completed the internal sound insulator) and a bit aggressive on the top all the buttons at noon.
