Aquarian RESPONSE 2 STAGE SET - 10/12/16 + 14

Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

The Response 2 series is among Aquarian's "all-rounder" references: a performance-oriented approach designed to offer a natural balance between openness, control, and durability. It is positioned as a safe choice for drummers seeking an effective drumhead for rehearsal, studio, and stage, without limiting themselves to a specific style.

Who This Drum Kit/Instrument Is For

This pack is aimed at beginner to advanced drummers looking for drumheads that are easy to tune and capable of handling varied dynamics. Ideal if you play multiple projects or styles and want a consistent sound on your toms, with a more precise snare thanks to the included drumhead.

Features and Innovations

The two-ply construction provides tuning stability, limits overly intrusive overtones, and improves longevity, while maintaining an open character. The included 14" Texture Coated drumhead promotes brush articulation and enhances rimshot and ghost note definition.

Sound

On the toms, the Response 2 deliver a clear attack, solid low end, and controlled sustain: producing a present and articulate sound without artificially muffling the shell. Tuned low, they remain full and controlled; tuned high, they retain projection and good definition.

On the snare, the Texture Coated head adds a drier grain and better focus to the stroke, while maintaining sensitivity at low volumes.
