The Arturia AstroLab 61 Silver builds on the concept of the standalone stage keyboard while giving it an even more distinctive visual identity. This version retains the DNA of the AstroLab range: bringing together a vast collection of virtual instruments, immediately accessible controls and an optimized layout for musicians who need to switch between sounds without interrupting their performance. The AstroLab 61 Silver therefore lets you prepare a detailed sonic universe in advance, then reproduce it simply and reliably when it is time to play.

A versatile keyboard for live performance, creativity and production

The AstroLab 61 Silver is aimed at keyboard players, producers, composers and multi-instrumentalists looking for a complete stage synthesizer without having to rely constantly on a computer. It is equally suited to concert preparation, composition, rehearsals and the creation of sound textures in the studio.

Its 61 semi-weighted piano-style keys offer a response suited to piano, organ, electric keyboard, pad and lead parts. Aftertouch enhances your playing by adding expression to a held key, particularly with evolving sounds, solos and synthetic tones. It is especially relevant for pop, electro, synthwave, ambient, indie, scoring and stage setups where versatility is essential.

A performance workflow enhanced by AstroLab 2.0

The AstroLab 2.0 update expands the editing possibilities directly from the front panel. The new Sound Edit mode lets you quickly adjust the essential parameters of each instrument without disrupting the flow of a rehearsal or concert. Envelope, filter, glide and other settings are organized into pages, each controllable with the four Macro knobs.

More numerous and expressive sounds

With more than 40 integrated instruments and 11 sound engines, the AstroLab 61 Silver covers an especially broad musical range. Its library of more than 1,800 presets lets you move from an analog synthesizer inspired by vintage machines to an iconic keyboard, an acoustic instrument, a hybrid texture or a cinematic pad. The collection can be expanded to more than 10,000 sounds with Analog Lab Pro, V Collection and Pigments.

AstroLab 2.0 also adds a collection of sampled instruments designed for the stage. It notably includes the Pure Grand Clean acoustic piano, sampled across eight velocity levels, as well as funk or orchestral brass, strings suited to pop productions and acoustic or electric basses. These new tones bring greater realism and impact to arrangements requiring instrumental sounds.

Tools designed to keep you in control during live performance

The ten preset buttons make it easy to instantly recall your favorite sounds, while the multitrack Arpeggiator, Chord and Scale modes, and MIDI Looper let you create richer performances without complex programming. The central color display, encoder and navigation wheel provide a clear overview of the sounds and essential settings.

The instrument also features 17 insert effects, complemented by dedicated Delay and Reverb sections. This makes it easy to adapt a sound to a room’s acoustics, add density to a pad, give a lead more depth or finalize a sonic color without adding multiple external devices. Improvements to sampler polyphony, aftertouch, transposition display and preset navigation further enhance the overall efficiency of the instrument.
