Behringer BDJ 1000

A versatile DJ headphone embodying Behringer's "studio and stage" spirit

The Behringer BDJ 1000 was designed as an accessible professional DJ headphone, capable of supporting both music listening and monitoring work. It positions itself as a versatile solution within the Behringer range, with a signature tailored for DJing and everyday audio uses, while maintaining a durability-focused build.

Who is the BDJ 1000 for, and in what applications does it make a difference?

This headphone is aimed at beginner to advanced DJs seeking a comfortable model to prepare playlists, cue tracks, and manage pre-listening on the mixing console. Its closed-back circumaural format helps maintain focus on the cue, even in noisy environments (parties, rehearsals, backline, mobile rigs).

It is also suitable for creators and musicians in home studios who want a practical headphone to monitor bass lines, edit takes, or simply enjoy immersive listening across various devices, from smartphones to mixing consoles.

Features and innovations

The BDJ 1000 relies on 57 mm dynamic drivers to deliver an extended frequency response and energetic reproduction, useful for detecting attacks, transients, and the low end of the spectrum. Its closed design promotes consistent listening with marked sound isolation, enhancing precision during pre-listening and limiting external bleed.

The rotatable, reversible, and foldable ear cups facilitate one-ear monitoring and portability, while the ultra-soft cushions and adjustable padded headband increase comfort during long sessions. Finally, its high power handling capacity is designed to maintain clean sound even at high volume levels, and its compatibility is optimized for a wide variety of professional and consumer audio equipment.
